The Australian Children’s Theatre Foundation celebrates and carries on the inspiration of Joan and Betty Rayner. The Rayner Sisters pioneered Children’s Theatre throughout the early to mid 20th Century. Totally devoting their lives to the cause they engaged the minds and imaginations of young people across Australia and the world. They did this with nothing more than a caravan and a dream.
Designing the book for the partnership of ACTF and Regional Arts Victoria was richly rewarding. Artistic expression was embraced as we documented this important part of our nation’s history. The Strolling Players’ spirit lives on.
